James Robert Smith, Jr., 83, Wildwood, FL went to be with the Lord on March 6, 2014 under the loving care of family and staff of Lane Purcell Hospice House. Mr. Smith was retired from the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Postal Service. He was a native of Central Florida growing up in Coleman and returning to Wildwood in 1992 from Orlando.
Ronald Joseph Gauthier, 75, of Wildwood passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014. Mr. Gauthier was born December 29, 1938 in Lynn, MA to Alfred and Rose Emma (Houle) Gauthier. He was the owner of Highland Avenue Sunoco in Salem, MA for 30 years and the Lyk Nu Golf Cars in Bridgton, ME for 20 years.

Stanley B. Noped, 83, The Villages, FL died on Tuesday, February 25, 2014. Mr. Noped was born in East Stroudsburg, PA and moved to The Villages 18 years ago from New York City. He worked as a stage hand in Broadway theatre and was a member of the Theatre Stage Employees Local #1 (I.A.T.S.E.) in New York.
Kendall Karl McIntyre, 74, The Villages, Florida went to be with the Lord on February 28, 2014 under the loving care of family and staff of The Villages Hospice House. Mr. McIntyre was born on December 31, 1939 in Dover, New Hampshire to Paul Linwood McIntyre and Ruth Jane McIntyre. He was a Research and Testing Pilot for the U.S. Army retiring with over 29 years of service.
Richard C. Bartholomay, 86, passed from this life, Friday, February 28, 2014. Born in Rochester, NY he was the son of the late George and Leona (Ludwig) Bartholomay. Richard was an electrician for Eastman Kodak of Rochester, NY. He retired after 40 years of service.
Albert Thomas Menegay, 96, The Villages, FL, passed away peacefully at the Villages Hospice after a long bout with cancer. He was born in Canton, Ohio and moved to The Villages approximately 20 years ago. Mr. Menegay was a retired former owner of Menegay Machine & Tool Company in Canton.
Richard “Rick” McEvoy, 68, The Villages, FL passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Cornerstone Hospice after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Rick was born July 25, 1945 in Baltimore, MD. Rick was very active in the neighborhood of Bridgeport Miona Shores and loved by all.
Edna May Barker, 89, Summerfield, FL died on Monday, February 24, 2014. She was born in Palmyra, NY and moved to Summerfield from Seneca Falls, NY in 1990. She was a research director for Sarah Coventry Jewelry, a member of Lady Lake United Methodist Church and a member of the Rebecca Order of the Eastern Star in New York.
Arthur "Art" Joseph Blais, 68, of The Villages, Florida passed away February 25, 2014 at his home. He was born on March 2, 1945 in Lawrence, Massachusetts to Edmond and Germaine (Savoie) Blais. Art proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Upon retirement, Art loved living in The Villages and he especially loved the game of golf.
Ernest Richard Tobin 94, beloved husband of 67 years to Shelagh passed from this life Tuesday, February 25, 2014. Born in Akron, Ohio he was the son of the late Thomas and Annie (Ickes) Tobin. Ernest was an executive director for the United Way in PA for 49 years.

Rita E. Cullen, 77, The Villages FL passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 11, 2014. She was born June 24, 1936 in Philadelphia Pa. Rita has been a resident of The Villages FL since 1998. In 1967, Rita and her family moved from Philadelphia to Waretown, a New Jersey Shore community.
